The South Australian Department for Environment & Heritage has commissioned Aerometrex for the digital aerial survey of the Yorke Peninsula (through to the Flinders Ranges), South East Region of South Australia and the River Murray – from the SA/Vic border through to the Murray Mouth.

Aerometrex has delivered the 35cm resolution coverages to the Adelaide Hills (795 sq kms), Barossa Regional (893 sq kms) and Light Regional Councils (1,252 sq kms). All 3 councils were flown at the same time in January 2008. A number of major towns in both the Barossa & Light Regional Councils were also covered at 15cm resolution and processing of this data to orthophotos is currently being completed.
