Aerial Phototgraphy

Aerial photography forms the basis for all photogrammetric mapping; the quality and
accuracy of all mapping is dependent upon the acquisition of high quality, error free imagery.
Through a strategic alliance and partnership with a leading aerial survey company,
AEROmetrex, has access to several aircraft specifically fitted to provide imagery of the highest
quality. Each aircraft is equipped with airborne GPS (AGPS) for precision guidance,
pin-point station photography, recording and reduction of photo centres to ensure accurate aerotriangulation.
AEROmetrex was a pioneer of AGPS collection for photogrammetric control and has used
this technology to support, and often supplement, conventional ground control for many
photogrammetric survey and mapping projects.
