Digital Orthophotography

AEROmetrex has gained national recognition for producing high quality digital orthophotography. All digital ortho imagery produced by AEROmetrex is both geometrically precise and radiometrically balanced to ensure a seamless image when mosaicing ortho tiles.

Using the "in-house" developed software AEROblend, improves the visual uniformity of orthophotographs by balancing intensity and colour variation across each aerial film frame. AEROblend removes solar reflection "hot spots" that are characteristic in most aerial photography. There are no "patchwork quilt" effects in the AEROmetrex ortho mosaics and all orthophotography passes through an exhaustive QC procedure to ensure high quality and precision.
