AEROmetrex has now acquired the latest professional image scanner to compliment its extensive services in the provision of high quality aerial photography and photogrammetric services.

Through a strategic business alliance with The Siwei Surveying and Mapping Technology Beijing Company of China, the Imatizer 2304 high precision geometric scanner is primarily used for full digital photogrammetry, remote sensing and geographic information systems that demand images of good geometric and radiometric fidelities.

The scanner together with the in-house developed AEROblend software ensures the delivery of exceptionally high quality digital imagery. The AEROblend software provides seamless joins between images and tiles and takes into account the radiometric (intensity and colour) differences between aerial photographs.

The software removes solar reflection "hot spots" and improves visual uniformity of orthophotographs by balancing intensity and colour variation across each frame. AEROblend corrects colour and intensity defects introduced during aerial photography, scanning and other image processes.
