Queensland 2012 Flood: AEROmetrex captures data over several towns for emergency flood relief.
AEROmetrex has captured 10cm aerial photography over Bollon, Mungindi and Thallon late Thursday 9th February after major floods hit Southern Queensland.
More than 400 frames have been processed to generate three Emergency Ortho mosaics and have been delivered to the client mid-Sunday, less than 2.5 days after acquisition.
.
Over the past ten years, AEROmetrex has performed many extremely time sensitive projects over many of Australia’s major disasters. On these occasions while it is very important to be on site quickly with experienced personnel and the best equipment, it is also important to capture the job correctly which will allow the most information to be extracted from the data at a later date.
AEROmetrex is always on the supplier short list when the project is extremely important and the survey data is crucial.
