High Performance Survey Aircraft for AEROmetrex
AEROmetrex is now using a Cessna 441 Conquest for its aerial survey operations.
The Conquest, leased from Corporate Air in Canberra, provides a pressurised aircraft
to “house” the Vexcel UltraCamD digital mapping camera.
This provides AEROmetrex to comfortably increase the range of resolutions of
digital orthophotography previously not safely achieved with an unpressurised aircraft.
AEROmetrex recognises the OHS&W issues for its aerial survey crew being subject
to the hazards of high-altitude flying and the requirements for use of oxygen
at altitudes in excess of 10,000 feet.
Being a high performance aircraft, the Conquest offers additional features
including quicker times to project sites and in climbing to altitude.

A SPATIAL STRATEGIC ALLIANCE
AEROmetrex is pleased to announce the establishment of a strategic alliance
with Spatial 3i, based in Brisbane Qld.
Bernard Fitzpatrick of Spatial 3i will be promoting AEROmetrex's
range of products and services in Queensland, including Vexcel digital aerial photography.
The strategic alliance will see Spatial 3i work with AEROmetrex to establish an
AEROmetrex presence back in Brisbane.
Bernard says, "I believe that this alliance was an obvious way forward for both companies,
bringing together our complementary capabilities from data capture through to
client focused spatial information solutions in areas of aerial and satellite imagery applications.
We believe that spatial imagery solutions come about from being user focused rather
