The city of Portland is the oldest European settlement in what is now the state of Victoria, Australia. It is the main urban centre of the Shire of Glenelg. It is located on Portland Bay.
The Portland wind farm is one of Australia’s largest wind farms. It consists of four separate sites. The project is expected to produce more than 500 GWh annually, enough electricity to power about 125,000 homes each year, and equal to more than 7% of Victoria’s residential electricity demand, or powering a city the size of Geelong. Situated in Victoria, 210km from Melbourne, Mt Buller is a mountain in the Australian Alps. The village situated near the the summit is primarly a resort town. Mount Buller is popular with snowsports enthusiasts in winter.

Uluru also called Ayers Rock is a huge sand rock formation (3.6 km long x 1.9 km wide) in the Australian outback. This very famous Australian trademark rises 348m above ground but it’s two third of this impressive rock lies underground.
The Aboriginal traditional owners of Uluru are the Anangu. Sacred sites are situated all around the base of the rock. Read more
